Software tester duties and responsibilities
- Validity and feasibility of user stories and/or use cases/requirements.
- Close collaboration with other team members and departments.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
- Design and create automation scripts as needed.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Apply quality engineering principles across the Agile product lifecycle
Software tester requirements and qualifications
- 4 to 5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC and Defect life cycle.
- Experience in Designing test plans, test cases and scenarios as per requirement provided.
- Experience performing end-to-end application testing: requirement validation, functional, integration, regression, user acceptance testing and defect management.
- Experience in working with Agile Scrum model.
- Experience in Web Service Testing & Mobile Responsive Testing.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Good Analytical Skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
